Flying Ferret #24, Page 2

Okay, things are going well, my computer did not have a hard drive crash, but instead, it was my USB port of all things! Man, am I ever grateful for that. I would have just simply given up if my drive had crashed... just walked away from it all. Okay, maybe not, but I certainly would have curled up into a fetus position for while and cried like a baby if that had happened, taken a year off, and then start up again.

So, that aside, I'm a good few days ahead of my usual schedules. If I had done this at any other time, this would have been a "Wednesday" special strip, but like I say, I'm trying to milk some time out, get far ahead of myself so I can work on the printed comic, which as of this writing, isn't happening yet.

As for this page. Many little things I'm proud of, one of them is that I've employed my Swift 3D program again, to create some walls and things for the hallway as well as the "poker" that comes flying out at FF. There are some interesting little clues in this page, too, for things later on.

Now, as for Hefta rushing in to save FF, I was at first, giggling to myself with FF getting struck by her boobs, but then since it is a character created by my daughter, Raine, I had second thoughts. So, I called her over and asked her what she thought of it. She looked at it and said, "Daaad."

Okay, I thought, I guess that was in bad taste, and I was prepared to re-draw the panel. Raine came back before I started and she said, "Dad, I thought about it, it's actually pretty funny." So, I don't know whether to be tickled that my daughter has the same sense of humor as I... or worried.
