The end of Mummy Man?

Flying Ferret #23, Page 4.

Did I ever give credit for the character of "Mummy Man," I hope I did. Again, this is the creation of my old high school friend, Mike Puhl. The funny thing is that when I first drew him in the comic, he appears as he did when Mike first created him, stark white, blue shorts and boots. Not really looking like a mummy, but more like the Michelin Man (hence the comment by Major Fitt). It took my brother's coloring job to finally see the character as he should've been---the colors of mummy bandages---DUH! What was I thinking?

Anyway, of course, the name of "Mummy Man," to say the least, is a product of our more juvenile days, and I never liked it anyway, so I've been racking my brain lately to replace. I may do a little poll in the forum on what to name him, or people could offer suggestions. I have something in mind, but I don't know if I like it yet.

Of course, you're saying to yourself, but you just killed off "Mummy Man," how can he have a name now? Well, silly bean, is this not the world of superhero beings? I've given enough clues here to indicate that he just may return... maybe better than before?
