Flying Ferret #23, Page 7.
As you may know, I had lost my pen prior to completing this strip. I ordered a new one ($30) to replace it, and I moped for a few days, but didn't stop looking for the pen. Finally, I did find it UNDER my PC tower! Only a little girl of the Corabeth persuasion would have thought to put it there. Though I missed my deadline, I'm glad I finally found the pen. Waiting until the 30th would have been just too long. My wife asked me if I was going to cancel the order, and I said, "Of course not, what if this happens again, and I really can't find it! It sure would be nice to have a backup pen in case."
So, here it is, the latest strip, took a while to get done. Lets hope I continue pumping the pages out. I have the next ones all penciled out, and so excited to get them to you. I know that the story is dragging a bit right now, but trust me, it'll get a lot more action-y soon... very soon. There will also be some tangents ahead. They're necessary and set-ups for future storylines. Keep them in mind as you read along. Look for little clues, too, for other things going on. I'm sure at some point I'll point them out.
Anyway, Thanksgiving is tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. For the last three years I've been the cook on Thanksgiving. Time to give my poor mother a break, I think, for all the years of preparing meals for me. So, enjoy Thanksgiving, if you celebrate it. I love the day. It's all too short sometimes, but like some people, I think about my poor gut-line and how I need to exercise. I swear, I will get back to it when the feasting is done.
