Well, I blew my two week lead (for now)...

I was also involved in the "National Novel Writing Month," but then I realized it was just another distraction. I didn't have the time nor the energy to devote to it. So, sadly, again, for another year, I had to drop it, but it's for the best. I want the time to devote to Flying Ferret, and that's where my time and energy needs to be (other than familiy--which is a priority over FF, but that's the way it is).

What else can I say? I like the top part of this page, but I kind of fudged it on the bottom panel. Not real happy with it, but I just couldn't work it any other way. I don't like "talky-panels." I really need to work on that. I'm going to open up my favorite comics and study them to see how they handle talkier panels. I remember Kirby did some talk panels, but he always had good angles, so that says to me I NEED TO DRAW wider angles, more detail, more in the shot. It's the only way. I KNOW this, why don't I follow through? Lazy, I guess. Well, I intend to change that.
