Hey, not doing too badly even though I'm in a play, am I? Plus I've been saddled with more illustrations that I absolutely have no time to do! Okay, enough whining. Things are going pretty well, still can't wait for the play to be done. I know for sure that I will not be able to get a comic out next week, that's a performance week, but then I have a week off from the play and I should have time again to work on it.

Anyway, I've been waiting for this joke. For a long time, I wondered what the heck was I going to have Cinderblock do throughout this comic, what importance would he play in the end, and then this came to me.

However, this may have to be my last nudie joke. I don't know, I'm getting more senstive about this sort of thing, since I found out that a young person has been reading my comics (and he told me he read the Captain Bear-Naked stuff. I actually got embarrassed), and I don't want to really get into trouble with any parents. I do want to make comics that kids can enjoy and not be provocative or subversive. If you've noticed, I've cut back on the swearing in FF, too. I want to make comics where I don't have to resort to potty-mouth humor or naked jokes. Am I becoming a prude? No, I just want to be a little more responsible. With Marvel comics now allowing writers to write swear words in their comics, I've become a bit disappointed with the comic field. It's quite sad, really.

Oh well, think what you want. It's my comic, and I feel I must do the right thing.
