FLYING FERRET #25, PAGE 14
Okay, was a little lazy on the last blog, but that was more of just running out of time. So, I have an excuse. Again, I'm just flabbergasted by the speed by which time is passing! I should just be use it, but I'm not, and I had a visit with some old friends lately (one of them the co-creator of the Flying Ferret, and the other the creator of Shy-Borg), but we, too, commented on the how quick time was passing. Our visit felt so brief.
I'm trying to squeeze as much enjoyment out of the remainder of summer as I possibly can (if the weather permits it). Gardening has taken precedents for a couple days. Never has our garden grown so well! We have to take advantage of the warm weather to take the girls swimming. I've been wanting to go fishing with my dad, but it's either the weather, or Dad has to get the crops in (a farmer's work is never done). I just can't believe I haven't gone fishing ONCE this summer! Usually I get my line wet a few times. That just tells you how busy I've been, and August is just not slowing down!
So, I'm trying to get as much of this comic as I possibly can. It didn't help that I had computer problems, too. I'll spare you the details. Whatever the problem was seems to be over now (knock on wood, cross fingers, cross my eyes)
Anyway, I think it has been over a year now since I've said certain things would happen, but they apparently have not. I tell you one of the reasons I want to get through this issue in particular is to:
1) get to work on the new site
2) work on my printed comic--FINALLY!!
3) allow my brother to catch up on his Rabid Rabbit issues (if he's still into it. If he isn't by the time I get the new website up and running and the first FF comic printed, I have no choice but to continue on without him--which would be sad, because we've fed off each other with ideas so much, but he has his own life to lead, and I can't place these expectations and burdens on him.)
By the way, it is my 15th Anniversary. I really can not believe how the time flew. I've enjoyed my life with Michelle, and she's my muse, my one and only, and I hope we continue a long, happy marriage. There have been many ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade them for anything.
Waxing philosophical there. You hang in there, there is so much more to come. I really enjoy having you readers out there. I really do, and I appreciate it. Thanks!
