FLYING FERRET #25, PAGE 24

Even after the play, things still seem to fill up my time. I'm not complaining, it just reveals my naivete about what exactly what I think will happen after I think certain things are over and done with. It's like the saying, "nature abhors a vaccuum," and that seems the case here, too. Ever notice that?

Well, here's the new page. I could have been a shiester and copied each panel that was the same, but you know what, I actually sat and drew each and every one and made each one slightly different than the last. I'm proud of myself for that. Sometimes computers overtake too much and you need to get back to basics, which has been my temporal theme lately.

Anyway, at last, Mr. Superior is rescued by someone who is under the thumb of his cruel masters. A common theme in comics, but I've always liked it. Now, prepare yourself for some great actions in the coming pages. Originally, this was going to be a 28 page comic, preparing it for when I actually print it, i.e., comics have to be in increments of 4 to print, but as I was going over my story again, and I had done a little editing, used an "extra" page to expand some action, I realized I would have to squeeze some action into one page, when it deserved MORE! So, now, I have no choice but to add four more pages to give the action its proper due!! Of course, I am not upset that I have to do more work---on the contrary---I can't wait to use those pages to give you some really great pages (I hope they turn out good).

Anyway, thanks for continuing to read. Working on the comic during Nov/Dec has been very difficult, especially when considering that I have some Christmas projects, and other things to work on. At any rate, this issue has to be tied up (for me) by the end of the year, and as I've been promising, there will be changes in many respects. So, hang in there!

Later!
