Flying Ferret #26, Page 7

And another BONUS WEDNESDAY---Crowd goes crazy---AAAAHHH! Of course, not entirely a bonus since I never posted a weekend page.

Oh well, I try. Anyway, yes, er...no, there will not be a strip this weekend... MAYBE.. Boy, am I the master of decisiveness or what? Story is, I'm drawing caricatures Saturday, in-laws coming by for a visit. Don't know what I'm doing for Father's Day, so I'm not sure what's going to happen. Personally, I'd rather sit at my computer and draw, but that ain't happening.

As for these characters..... Tentacles, is an old character I had created for an early comic of mine called "Eagle-6," but he was just a robot with mechanical tentacles, and Faceplate was some random character I came up. No real concrete idea of who he is, but I realized I have not had a character with energy-beam powers go up against the Flying Ferret yet and see how he fares, so here was my opportunity. And, finally, there is Widget. I just kind of made him up on the fly. There is no parody basis for him, although, he makes me think of Warlock from New Mutants, but this character isn't quite like that one.

Okay, this also will be my last "free page," as after this I HAVE to plot these pages out so I get the right number of pages for the issues.

Anyway, I have to force myself back into working on the printed Flying Ferret. I have put that off too long, and I feel like it is a crucial thing to Flying Ferret's future, and really kicking myself for not getting it done sooner. Thankfully, the month of July will be a lot calmer, and our plans for a family vacation have been put on hold because, of course, money. So, that gives me more time to focus on the comic... if the family permits me.
