My timeline is to actually finish my printed comic by the end of the first weekend of March (man, where is that time going!?), and hopefully I will be updating the following weekend.

So, I appreciate everyone's patience, and I hope you come back to read the comic.

Another great page by my brother!

I'm so easily amused.  I like the little "teeth bite" movement FF makes with his fingers. I like the expression on FF2169's face.  And I really like how Ross colored the cave.

In other things:  there will be an article on me and the Flying Ferret in my local paper.  I'm very excited.  They took pictures of me drawing a future page of Flying Ferret. I'll see if I can share the article here after it comes out.

In case you are all wondering who I am, well I am the tech guy behind the Flying Ferret.

I just want to tell you, like you probably notice, that our shoutbox is no longer working. I check our shoutbox provider and simply put the free service has been discontinued.

So for those of you that were using it, and we are not too many, I will try to found another one... or maybe not. Will talk with Douglas about it. Thanks!

Another great page by Ross.  I have to comment a little on the women we present in this comic, so far it has been a little unfairly.   Flying Ferret's first girlfriend, Lady X, was a little bit of a ho', Ms. Armageddon slept with a tech to get Shyborg's codes, and now here Brutish Babe is quite the slut, too.  I don't want people to think that's what we think of women.  I mean, take for instance, Crazy Eyes, Hefta and Chinchilla Chick.  We don't know about their sexual history. Of course, Voyeur wasn't staring at them....hm.  Okay, moving on....

I really dig his look on Flying Ferret 2169.  We've come a long way from all those years ago.

I also like the silly look on FF's face in the second panel.

Of course, this all brings up a lot of questions about Flying Ferret, but then I'll just answer that all will be revealed in time.

"Hey everyone! Doug's little brother Ross here with a very very long overdue conclusion to Flying Ferret 2169. Last time we left off (years ago...sorry...) the Flying Ferret had been awoken some one hundred and fifty years and some change into the future by scientists at Bellbottom Labs to confront a rising evil. Due to overly complicated PC laws, police have their hands bound and are unable to take proper action against the mysterious Mazooka Go who seems to be plotting the takeover and/or destruction of Megathomopolis. The young future Flying Ferret has his hands full as one of the last remaining dedicated superheroes in the city and is hoping that with the aid of his predecessor that he may put an end to Mazooka Go. However...the past Flying Ferret seems to be struggling to fit in to the future world.

I am pretty proud of this page. I haven't been drawing too much lately and, even though a bit rusty, it feels good to jump back into the Flying Ferret universe. It always has something interesting to offer, I think, as there is just too much to spoof in superhero comics. Granted, 2169 was more relevant back when the 2099 series were more popular...however I have seen a slight upsurge in the Spider-man 2099 character again so I think perhaps the spoof will be relevant again as well. Also... I really like ol' triple F. I hope to get a chance to use him again once this issue is done."

Rabid Rabbit!  Yep, that's right.  My brother's creation is back in the comic again, a team-up, of sorts, is on the docket!  Of course, you're asking yourself, why does he look different from the last time we saw him.  Isn't he dead?

All will be answered in the.. next comic?  Nope, sorry, I will be taking a little break, but don't worry!  There will be more Flying ferret.  What? you say, how can that be, I am so confused.

Well, as you can tell by the last page here, I did not draw it, my brother, the creator Rabid Rabbit, did, and he's going to... ready for this?

He's going to finish off the three-part storyline he started... welll, a long time ago.  YES!  At last the storyline for Flying Ferret 2169 will be finished!  I am as stoked as you are!!

So, with him filling in for me, I will take the time to work on my next issue, but also my printed comic.  So, bro, thank you so much for doing this!  And, I hope you all enjoy it, too---I know you will, because  ross's brain is just filled with such crazy-fun-stuff, it will be a hoot... must be tired.  Using the word "hoot."

Okay, it has been a little crazy. This last week I was SUPPOSE to have a little time off to spend working on my pages for FF, but then the unexpected, expectedly happened... first I lost my interent... bad modem, and then my "new" computer refused to boot, and I had no choice but to switch to the old one, which, unfortunately, didn't have any of my programs nor the wacom driver, and at that point, after suffering throu I was a little tired of the whole affair, so I just collapsesd and rolled into a fetal ball and wept.  But now I have recovered, and the page is finally done.

This page, too, was a little different in its first incarnation, I had planned to have FF visit RR at his tree house, and even had it all set up, and the page sketched,  and then my bro tells me, "um... that's going to screw up my continuity," and I had to re-think and re-sketch the page. I think what came out was much better, and is funny that he actually hits RR with his new car.

And, now some interesting, cool news... my brother will now not only be doing the final page for this issue, but that's not all.... I'll give you news on what's else in the next update, provided that comptuers behave and I can get on the internet.
