Here are the early sketches of Flying Ferret. The one where Flying Ferret is actually.. flying and firing guns from his body, is Jeremy's original sketch of our caped crusader. We had originally planned on making him more like Wolverine, but with machine-guns and retro-rockets coming out of his arms and legs instead of claws.
We also wanted to give him Vulcanized Rubber bones, making him rather resilient. Thankfully, we got rid of that. I got rid of the retro-rockets in my sketch of the Flying Ferret, too. I thought it would be funny that he's called Flying Ferret, but doesn't fly at all. His costume as you can see is a mix of Batman and Superman. Thankfully, I dropped that. He had fangs before, too, but thought it just made him too fierce. The fangs inspired me to make Capt. Bear-Naked. |
